- What if the discomfort is a good sign?
What if the discomfort is a good sign?
Hey,
Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get said enough…
Just because something doesn’t feel good, doesn’t mean it’s out of alignment.
Sometimes, stepping into what’s actually aligned for you doesn’t feel calm and cozy at first. It feels like friction. Like resistance. Like you’re using muscles you haven’t activated in a long time — or maybe ever.
It’s like going to the gym and doing a new movement.
You wake up sore the next day… not because something’s wrong, but because you’re building strength in a way your body isn’t used to.
The same is true in business.
Especially when you’re stepping into a new identity, a new strategy, or a new level of leadership. It’s not always going to feel “flowy” at first.
And if you’ve been conditioned to associate ease with alignment, that can be confusing.
So before you assume something’s off, I want to invite you to check in with two things:
1 — Am I in alignment?
Not from fear, not from pressure, but from a grounded place of self-honesty.
2 — Could this just be the cost of doing something new?
Something that requires more of me — not in a hustle way, but in a growth way?
Because the truth is:
Discomfort isn’t always a red flag.
Sometimes, it’s a green light.
And right now, that green light might be calling you forward.
More soon,
