The Queen & The Warrior

Why So Many Entrepreneurs Don’t Survive the Journey

I’ll be honest …

It’s a journey that most entrepreneurs don’t survive—mainly because, at times, it feels like going backward.

We all strive to be the kings and queens of our domain, masters of our destiny. But most of us start out as warriors.

The warrior’s mindset is clear: “If it’s got to be, it’s up to me”.

It’s about out-hustling, out-working, and outlasting the competition.

And if you’re in this warrior category, that alone puts you in the top 3% of the world.

But here’s the catch—most warriors never crack the top 1%. Why?

Because they get addicted to momentum.

A warrior craves action.
A queen craves stillness.

A warrior makes decisions for the next year.
A queen makes decisions for the next decade.

A warrior relies on pure effort.
A queen uses leverage.

A warrior moves for themselves.
A queen moves for her entire dominion.

A warrior needs proof.
A queen has trust.

A warrior waits to feel ready.
A queen knows the move makes her ready.

A warrior seeks the “right” decision.
A queen decides and makes it right.

Sure, the warrior might outpace the queen in the short term—but give that queen a decade, and she’ll leave the warrior in the dust.

In physics, we call this potential energy. Like a compressed spring, it might seem static, but it’s storing energy. To the naked eye, it might look like moving backward or doing nothing. But in reality, it’s reinvesting time, effort, and resources into systems that will create exponential growth.

Then one day, that spring releases—and what looks like an overnight success is actually years of preparation.

The queen knows this. She knows it was never an accident, and it didn’t happen overnight.

The truth is, success at the highest level doesn’t come from constant motion … it comes from knowing when to pause, reflect, and build for the long term. The warrior mindset might get you started, but the queen’s strategy ensures you finish.

So ask yourself—what game are you playing?

Cheers,
