She went from 1.8k to 31k

The better you get at your craft, the harder it becomes to sell it.

Sounds backwards. But it's true.

Let me tell you about Jenna. Before we worked together, her biggest month was $1,800.

Two months later she sent me this text

"OMG! We cleared $31k!!! … We still have 9 sales calls booked this week."

Jenna didn't suddenly become a better coach. She was already really good.

We just changed what she talked about.

Her old messaging was all about her expertise. Certifications. Whitepapers. Double-blind studies. All great stuff.

Just not what her client was thinking about at midnight.

Her client was staring in the mirror feeling ashamed. She was canceling the girls' trip because she hated how she looked. She was wondering why nothing ever worked.

So we stopped asking "What does Jenna want to teach?"

We started asking "What is her client already thinking about?"

That one shift changed everything.

Here's the weird thing about becoming an expert. You start speaking like one.

Your clients don't.

You know all the mechanisms and methodology. Your client hears it like Charlie Brown hears his teacher.

Wah wah wah wah wah.

Not because she's dumb. Because she's still stuck inside the problem you already solved.

You're talking from the finish line. She's still at the starting blocks.

The thing standing between you and more clients isn't another certification. It's learning to walk back to where she's standing.

Cheers,
