Nobody cares about your business

I spent four hours on Saturday teaching breathwork instructors how to talk about their businesses.

Then I jumped on a podcast to talk about the same thing.

Why am I obsessed with this?

Because most people are terrible at explaining what they do.

They talk about their certifications. Their training. Their methodology.

And everyone’s eyes glaze over.

Here’s the truth: nobody cares about your business.

They only care about their problems.

If you can’t tell me in one sentence what problem you solve for me, I’m already thinking about lunch.

Your expertise matters. Your years of training matter.

But only after you answer the most important question:
“What’s in it for me?”

I spent years screwing this up.
I’d talk about email marketing strategies and open rates and segmentation.

Boring.

Now I say:
“I help you get more clients without social.”
