I'm Sick

I’ve got this tickle in the back of my throat. I’m a little congested, drowsy—nothing serious. Don’t worry, I’ll sleep, hydration, and stack some supplements.

But it got me thinking about how easy it is for our present reality to set our vibe.

And why wouldn’t it?

It’s kinda like your schedule—if you don’t block your own time, your inbox will decide your day for you.

For entrepreneurs, a low bank account or hearing “no” too often can determine how we feel. Worse, we take that energy into everything else we touch.

But if you’re going to be an entrepreneur, you have to live in a distorted reality. We’re literally asking the universe to pull our imagination into existence. So the most important part of your day is this: set your vibe before the world can set it for you.

Here’s what that looks like for me:

  1. A non-negotiable 90 minutes with myself.

  2. A combo of breathwork, meditation, and visualization.

  3. Grounding into the version of myself that’s already accomplished everything I’m working toward.

  4. Asking my subconscious what I’m meant to do today.

  5. Taking action from that vibe, with speed.

I’ll be honest, there are plenty of days when I don’t want to do this. Days when I just want to phone it in—because honestly, who’s going to notice? But I’ve dropped the ball enough times to know the consequences.

So yeah, I’m a little under the weather, but that’s not what I’m bringing to my work today.

If there’s one thing you can take away from this: even on the tough days, make setting your vibe your first priority, not your last. The rest of the day will take care of itself.

Cheers,
